Episode 1: What Is Intention?
What is intention and why does it matter? In this class, we’ll discuss the power of setting a yearly intention, and the steps we personally take each year to find our presence. We’ll take stock of the year before, recognize what we’re grateful for, and identify what we want to leave behind. Then, we’ll begin the process of setting an intention for the year ahead.
Episode 2: Choosing Your Intention
Every intention starts with a seed. You must nourish the seed to grow your intention. What is the seed you want to cultivate, grow, and flourish over the next year? Maybe it’s love, peace, patience, joy, or belonging. We’ll talk about what makes a strong seed and how to expand that energy in your life.
Episode 3: Writing Your Mission Statement
Writing mission statements is part of the intention setting process that we do each year. These statements help you get specific about your intention and they give you a mantra to come back to when you need it.
Intention requires commitment, just like your mindfulness practice. But it’s normal and human to lose track of that commitment sometimes. Your mission statement will guide you back.
Episode 4: Surrendering and Letting Go
Surrendering is an essential part of the intention setting process that usually gets ignored. We must learn to let go to create anew. In this class, we explore the ways that letting go and surrendering can help you grow your intention throughout your year.
